About Tri-Core

Our experience includes well site supervision, geological consulting and open hole logging supervision for oil sands coring projects in northern Alberta. Coring operations generally occur in the winter months, as the frozen ground conditions permit the operation of rigs and support equipment to remote areas of the oil sands. Supervision of drilling, coring and logging places emphasis on correct formation depth estimates and efficiently of recovery in order to obtain a high percentage of core retrieved. Core samples extracted are immediately evaluated to determine the depth and quality of oil sands prior to being sent for laboratory analysis.

We use the latest industry software and communications technology in order to ensure concise and efficient supervision of real-time drilling parameters and information collection, essential to our field and final reports. Well status reports are sent to clients on a daily basis, in addition to the comprehensive core logging reports sent at the conclusion of each hole. We are please to include any additional information in our reports in order to meet our clients specific needs. Emphasis is placed on rapid turn around between rig release and presentation of final wellsite reports.

All representatives of Tri-Core have valid H2S and First Aid certifications and are available immediately for any wellsite needs you may have.
